Joe is 58 years old and for a long time he has held a dream of visiting Malta for a holiday, a destination which holds very special memories for Joe. Joe has spent much time researching his holiday and has even visited Norwich Airport to gather details about flights and costs. Joe particularly loved watching the planes take-off while he was at the airport.
How we helped
Joe knew that the cost of a holiday to Malta for himself and his support workers would need careful planning and he and his Support Manager, Christine, wanted to make sure that all Joe’s finances were in order and that he had enough savings to properly pay for the holiday.
The PDS looked carefully at Joe’s finances and decided that as this was a special opportunity and not something that happens every year, Joe has enough savings to use the money for this much longed-for holiday. This is great for Joe! His financial situation has greatly improved since he first came to us, due to careful day-to-day financial planning and saving.
