Tony

19 Feb, 24 | Suffolk, The vulnerable

Tony had a remarkable principal carer, whose name was Maria. She was more like a daughter to him.  Here’s what she said at the funeral.

‘Tony was a born with Learning disabilities but, it doesn’t mean that he didn’t have rights.  He lived his life comfortable in his home sharing with Miss S. They both lived Comfortable with the support of the Professional Deputy Service looking after their financial affairs.

The Professional Deputy Service made both clients choose where they want to go on holidays and this was made possible.  We carers travelled places with Tony and Betty because of good management of the Professional Deputy Service. A lot was off our shoulders because of excellent service. Regarding Tony’s funeral, also applaud you for organising the lovely send off. Thank you Pds for your services. ‘
